Abstract
The 1982 International Conference or Rainwater Cistern Systems brought together
investigators and practitioners in catchment utilization. This paper reviews the
presentations at that conference by topics as follows: Technology (catchment area,
storage, costs); Water Quality (biological and physical-chemical); and Design
and Analysis (precipitation and demand modeling, and sizing methodology).
